We partner with RAGAS (Rotary Action Group Against Slavery) to bring awareness to our local community about the danger and prevalence of human trafficking. Our guest speakers from Peel Regional Police, International Justice Mission, an international rescue operation, and the Region of Peel’s Anti-Human-Trafficking services, were able to share valuable information regarding methods of deception, indicators to watch for, facts versus misperceptions, and services available in the region to help the victims.
