This year’s conference will be a one-day event that is interactive and gets everyone involved, including kids. There will be lots of time for:
- networking,
- inspiration from dynamic speakers from across our district,
- and of course lots of fun as we learn about how our families’ support enables us to be even better Rotarians.
It’s a perfect setting to show our gratitude and appreciation for the families who back us throughout the Rotary year! We welcome first-time attendees and long-time returnees!
What can I expect?
- Continental breakfast upon arrival
- Keynote Speakers for Each of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus
- A barbecue picnic lunch (hot dogs, sausages, salad, etc.)
- A Presidents-Elect Round table Discussion Hosted by DGE Sohail to discuss upcoming, exciting grants, projects and fundraisers. Leave with inspiration and an eye to the future.
- Evening cash bar reception with snacks.
What will there be for kids?
- Fun activities related to each of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus
- Games for kids
- Popcorn and candy floss
- Exploring all that Country Heritage Park has to offer (historical machines, etc.)
- Build a bird house for mom (Mother’s Day craft)
- Hay Rides
- Missy Lizzy and older car are attending to provide rides
- Potato sack races
- Three-legged races
- Egg-on-a-spoon races
- Cricket Pitch
- Water sanitation and literacy station
- And more suprises!
Expect a fantastic lunch with great food and networking. The event will also feature a House of Friendship where members can learn more about what’s happening across our district and connect with friends – some new and some old!
