As we approach Easter weekend,  members of the Rotary Club of Mississauga Streetsville paid a visit to Eden Food for Change to make our latest contribution. Our club has supported Eden Food for Change for many years and we were happy to help with the launch of their satellite location in the United Church located in the heart of Streetsville back in 2020. Together with other Rotary clubs in Mississauga, we helped fund the new commercial scale fridge where food would be stored and made available to the community twice a week. This new satellite location came at a very critical time as many families were facing tough time during COVID lockdowns. Today, we had a tour of the main location on Unity Drive and were very happy to see the dynamic operation in the warehouse and in the Learning Kitchen.

We look forward to our next visit where we plan to prepare a warm meal for distribution to the clients of he Food Bank while enjoying each other’s company and fellowship.
